Congratulations to this week’s Showcase Cinemas High School Team of the Week: Mount Hope Fall Athletics.

MHHS Athletic Department & All Fall Sport Teams during the week of September 28th – October 2nd the Mt. Hope High School Athletics and all Fall Sports Teams participated in a Pink Out Week.

Students from each sport raised money and showed support and respect to a former cheerleading coach, Sharon Lombardo, who recently lost her courageous battle with cancer and had the heart of a warrior and was a lifelong cheerleader for The Bristol-Warren Athletics Department.

On a typical game night at all high schools around the state the money raised at the gate helps to fund the athletic program. However, Athletic Director Christy Belisle along with each fall team decided to donate all admission proceeds during that week to the Gloria Gemma Foundation while incorporating pink into their sport whether it was wearing pink or promoting fans to wear pink in honor of a local mother and former
cheerleading coach at MHHS.
