The West Warwick and East Greenwich girls basketball teams hosted a pink out game on Monday, January 25th. Surrounded by

Surrounded by bleachers full of pink shirts, we honored former Lady Avenger basketball star, Meg Almon from the class of 2000, as she continues her fight against breast cancer.

In this fundraiser game we successfully raised awareness as well as over $2,000 for The Breast Center at Kent Hospital thanks to generous donations from the community along with a bake sale and T-shirt sale.

In a basketball game there can usually only be one winner, but this night was different, we all won in honor of a great cause.
