Congratulations to this week’s Showcase Cinemas High School Team of the Week: Central High School Varstiy Football!

The CHS Boys football team is undefeated going into the big game this Saturday against Shea.

This team, a truly unique group of men, has been the most respectful and well mannered in all my years.

Not only are they striving to perform top notch with their academics, but have piloted our first Wednesday tutoring program in order to keep all student athletes eligible to play.

They have united as a team and further shown their leadership as many volunteer their time at Central as part of our Senior Mentors. This group mentors our freshmen as they navigate their first year in high school.

This team is truly one of a kind.
